I Humbly Ask for Your Vote
The greatest honor I have ever had is serving the people of Kenmore. If reelected I will continue to work to ensure that our government is transparent and responsive, that we continue to build out our sidewalk network, and that we continue to tackle the defining issues of our time - the housing affordability crisis and climate change, and that we continue to build a Kenmore that is welcoming and inclusive to everyone.

Building A Safer, More Transparent Kenmore

When I first ran for Council I promised to build sidewalks and make our government more transparent - and I've delivered.
We've built over 6 miles of new sidewalks, and over 6 miles of new bike lanes since I joined the Council. I introduced and passed our Target Zero resolution, which has resulted in streets that are safer for anyone using our roads.
I got a camera installed in Council chambers so that the public can stream our meetings live from home and see what their Council is doing. I led the effort to ensure that when we returned to in-person Council meetings that the public could still participate remotely - because I know it's a lot easier for busy folks to jump on their laptop or phone while they make dinner than make it down to City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on a Monday night. And everyone deserves to have their voice heard, whether they are able to make it in person, or join over Zoom.
Like many families, we moved to Kenmore when our daughter was a baby because we fell in love with the community; we saw great schools, greater affordability than the surrounding area, and felt like this was a family-friendly community. Over our 18 years of living here, the decision to move to Kenmore has been proven right over and over again.

I am proud of my work on our City Council, where I have been a progressive leader on issues like transportation, affordable housing, the environment and government transparency. I am also honored to have been chosen by my Council colleagues twice to serve as our Mayor, and twice as Deputy Mayor prior to that.

I am a trusted leader, endorsed by officials like United States Representative Suzan DelBene, King County Councilmember Rod Dembowski, State Senator Derek Stanford, State Representatives Davina Duerr and Shelley Kloba, along with local leaders like Staci and Eric Adman, Angela Kugler, Katrina Rose, Marella Alejandrino, Jason Parker, Tracy Banaszynski, and many more. They've seen my work firsthand, and know that I am working every day to deliver for the people of Kenmore.

I humbly ask for your support and vote, and look forward to the opportunit to continue giving back to the city that has given so much to me and my family.
